Terre Beach's extensive musical career began at age seven, studying singing, songwriting, piano, guitar and focusing on drumming and percussion. At age eight, she played in her school marching band and has 10 years of formal piano training.
Terre started her first band when she was 13 with her talented twin sister Gerre Edinger, and later developed Swiss Tyme with her two sisters, Kimmi (bass, vocals. flute) and Gerre (lead guitar, vocals). They were renowned as one of the first all-girl rock bands in the area and also played jazz, blues and original music.
Terre has recorded with a multitude of professionals, including Tyrant which was an international touring act during the late 70s and early 80s. Tyrant was formed after Terre and Kimmi met Gary Belniak, Joe Beach and Gerard Beach and the group found a magic connection after their first jam. Tyrant later became known as one of the hardest-working bands in the area and shared the stage with such bands as Nazareth, Pat Travers, Survivor, Cryan' Shames and others. Terre, Gerard, Gary and Joe later became part of the legendary Shadows of Knight band with Jimy Sohns.
In the 90s, Terre, Kimmi and Gary formed Leather & Lace, performing and recording new original music. Terre continues her high-energy style of playing, singing and writing and is excited to be playing with Lukara. She is also involved with other music projects, including work on Sandra Troutman's new album "Stormbringer".
