A veteran of the Chicago music scene, Courtney currently drums for Blues Hall of Fame artist, JB Ritchie in addition to playing with Lukara. Many remember her from the all-female rock band, Tough Love. She's an accomplished drummer, songwriter and vocalist and her dynamic stage presence and live performances have garnered her a large fan base of her own.
Courtney began drumming at the age of nine when she traded her French horn for a pair of sticks. Her formal training includes lessons from a guy named Glenn at her local music store and the best education that money cannot buy: a lifetime of experience playing everything from blues to metal.
Courtney is currently working on a full-length funk CD with co- writer and musical collaborator, Gary Belniak. She's also teamed up with shred guitarist Katrina Johnasson in “Johansson-Wolfe” as drummer and lead vocalist. Their first release, "Cinderella" has remained on the ReverNation top 40 charts for more than a year.
When asked to join Lukara, Courtney had this to say: “ I always thought the greatest honor anyone could hope for is having a Star Trek action figure made in their likeness. Being asked to join Lukara is better!”
